Oasis: Latest News Print E-mail
At what point in life do we stop buying things with occasions in mind and start buying things that just have ‘me’ written all over them? Now, is the answer from the shopfloor of Oasis. This is a brand which offers such a variety of good-value, on-trend pieces that it is hard not to gather an armful for the changing rooms and emerge with a wardrobe ready for any outing.

Lazing in the sun? Going to work? Lunching with friends in Le Café Anglais? Holiday nightlife? Picnicking with the kids? Taking in some culture over the weekend? You’ll find just items that will take you through all the demands of the spring/summer season.

And red carpet? Not just in your dreams! Under the guidance of new Creative Director Nadia Jones, Oasis have created a modern take on spirited femininity. As you can see from the images, the story is all about the return of ‘The Dress’ as a wardrobe staple.

There’s something so easy about slipping on a dress – and you can get so many different looks to fit your mood. Full-skirted couture or slim pencil shapes spell out easy, affordable glamour. Hippy-chicky maxi dresses are perfect for wafting around in. There is an absolutely gorgeous chiffon tiered mini in Vintage Rose and a stunning dip-dyed crepe dress with floral detailed strap. As usual, they have some lovely prints and the Oasis-brand quirky accent on accessories. Check those pretty ballet pumps!

There's a glowing endorsement too from Lily Chakraborti, store manager.

I love our new Coco range – very French, very chic elegant cap-sleeved lacy tops and skirts in black and white and lilac. There is a cream Vintage Hand-Held Bag that goes with that line, and it’s flying out of the shop. My other favourite product is the black and white Ditsy Tea Dress.
